最上級は、人や物など、対象となるグループ内の３つ以上を比べて「・・・の中で(主語)が最も～だ」のように表現します。
最上級の基本構文は、形容詞・副詞の原級+est、もしくは語の前に”most”を置きます。

例1: young → youngest / tall →　tallest / big → biggest / happy → happiest
例2: famous → most famous / beautiful → most beautiful / popular → most popular
例3: good → best / bad → worst / many → most / much → most
