So what did you do during the weekend?
週末は何してたの？
I wake up a bit late, around 8:30 AM.
週末は８時半ぐらい、少し遅めに起きたんだよ。
I had a late breakfast,
遅めの朝食を食べて、
then I went to the beach with my family.
家族とビーチに行ったんだ。
I went home around 4 pm then I played basketball with my friends.
４時ごろ家に帰って、友達とバスケしたよ。

I woke up early so that I can do several things.
私は色んなことができるから早起きしたんだ。
I spent an hour playing with my dog after breakfast.
朝食の後は1時間ほど犬と遊んで、
Then I went to my grandma’s house in the afternoon.
おばあちゃんの家に行ったんだ。
I always help my grandma in cooking my favorite dishes.
いつもおばあちゃんの好きな料理を作るのを手伝うんだ。
She is a great cook.
彼女はすごい料理上手なんだよ。
I learned many dishes from her.
彼女から沢山料理を習ったよ。
Do you always go to the beach on your weekends?
あなたはいつも週末にビーチに行くの？
Yeah, I go to the beach almost every weekend.
そうだよ、ほとんど毎週行くよ。
Because it’s so close to my house.

What did you do on Sunday?
日曜日は何したの？
On Sunday, I did my homework and prepared my things for school.
日曜日は宿題とか学校の準備とかしたよ。
I did some yoga exercises with my sister after that.
その後姉と一緒にヨガをしたんだ。
In the evening, we enjoyed BBQ for our dinner in the backyard.
晩御飯は裏庭でBBQしたんだ。

On Sunday, I was playing video games and watching YouTube.

Then my mother was angry at me.

So I helped with the chores at home in the afternoon.
午後は家の雑用を手伝ったんだ。
