「長男」であることを伝える英語フレーズ

I’m ~.のフレーズを使って長男(長女)・次男(次女)などを表現します。

長男(長女)や末っ子は兄弟の位置から見て「一番年上の息子(娘)」、または「一番年下の息子(娘)」ですので、old、youngの最上級とson(息子)またはdaughter(娘)を組み合わせて表現します。

次男(次女)、三男(三女)については「2番目の、3番目の息子(娘)」となりますので、the second、thirdを使って表します。

基本文型

I’m the oldest son/daughter.
私は長男/長女です。

I’m the youngest son/daughter.
私は末っ子です。

I’m the second son/daughter.
私は次男/次女です。
